The Department of Marketing aims to be a center of dynamic, practice-oriented entrepreneurial marketing education complementing the Institute excellence in Science and Technology thrust in the development of Southern Philippines.
Through our Entrepreneurial Marketing program, we prepare students for the diverse roles they will play in their careers in business and non-business sectors. Particularly, we provide our students a two-pronged program that allows them to choose between a career with industries and a career in entrepreneurship.
The Department takes pride in its initiatives to act as catalyst in developing the spirit of entrepreneurship not only in its programs but extending further to other fields of discipline such as engineering and engineering technology.
We, at the Department of Marketing, zealously strive to help our students gain the much needed skills, “real world” job experiences, and work values that propel them into a successful work environment. Such experiences and skills building activities include on-the-job trainings and an actual small business operation.
We are a department who recognizes the dynamism of the business environment and thus constantly endeavors to update our programs to produce more competitive graduates equipped with competencies relevant to the times.
