To produce quality mathematical sciences researches; provide teaching and extension services; and enhance the development of mathematics faculty of other Higher Educational Institutions through continuous upgrading of Department’s various curricular programs, faculty force, facilities, and Off-Campus programs.

To contribute significantly to the country's goal of having an effective and efficient health care delivery system.
Objectives
- To offer relevant and responsive programs in health sciences.
- To provide continuous supply of highly competent nursing graduates who will fill-up the manpower shortage in the various health agencies of the locality and/or the country.
- To strengthen collaborative research works in health and/or applied sciences with the local, national or foreign institutions.
- To strengthen linkages with the different health agencies here and abroad including the local government units.
- To engage in health researches and undertake extension activities that will lead to an improved quality of life of the surrounding communities of the institution.
